STUDENTS
Students are the lifeblood of ASSBI and there are many opportunities for students to be involved in the Society as well as the Conference. There will be a meeting place for networking and getting to know other   students – venue to be confirmed Drinks will be organised for students on Friday evening prior to the lifetime   support conference dinner There will be a workshop/panel discussion on Saturday – details to be   confirmed All student badges and lanyards will be green so you can spot a fellow student Four conference travel grants are available – click here for further details. These will be decided by the Conference Committee and will be awarded prior to the conference. To be eligible for any of the travel grants you must be an enrolled student to submit an abstract complete an application form AND attend the conference to present your talk/datablitz or poster Three Awards (Kevin Walsh Award, Luria Award and Travel Award) will be decided by a sub-committee of the ASSBI executive and will be awarded at the close of the conference on Saturday afternoon. To be eligible for any of the awards you must be an enrolled student submit an abstract AND attend the conference to present your talk/datablitz or poster
